We had a heck of a winter storm for Texas last week. So there was not much to do but stay warm. I decided to give chicken raising another go. I am waiting for my chicks to arrive. This may be the last time I will try raising chickens because I have no luck. Between the floods, hurricane Harvey, and predators, these are enough trials to discourage any farmer. I am also going to continue my apprenticeship in bee keeping. Last year I started my apprenticeship toward the end of the season so I saw very little.
